For all AP courses, tutors must have earned at least a 4 on the exam, or have an excellent GPA in related college courses.

Elementary School Subjects
Our elementary school tutors must have teaching or tutoring experience working with elementary school students, and have training in teaching children to read.

• Literacy

• Writing & Fine Motor Skills
• Sentence Structure
• Fluency
• Phonics
• Special Education
• ERB skills preparation

Test Preparation
Our test prep tutors must have scored extremely well on the test in question and have an excellent understanding the exam’s structure, scoring, and strategies.

• ISEE preparation (all parts of test)
• SAT preparation (all parts of test)
• ACT preparation (all parts of test)

If you are a senior in college (or above) with a minimum 3.4 GPA, have reliable transportation, are available evenings and/or weekends through the end of the academic year, have solid references and experience tutoring or working with students, and can expertly tutor ANY of the above subjects, please send the following to tutors@1on1academictutors.com:

• A ONE page resume with relevant education and experience
• 3 academic or professional references (name, relation and phone or email)
